Privacy Notice
Last updated: 1 August 2026
Who we are
Seeky Ltd ("Seeky", "we", "us") is building an on-demand platform that connects estate and letting agents and landlords with hand-picked, self-employed people who carry out property viewings, inspections and related visits.
This notice explains how we handle your personal information when you join our early-access list at seeky.co.uk. It will be replaced by our full privacy policy when the Seeky platform launches.
- Data controller: Seeky Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17272912), registered office 51 Colegate, Norwich NR3 1DD.
- Contact about your data: privacy@seeky.co.uk
- ICO registration: we are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZC183006.
What we collect, and why
When you join the early-access list, we collect:
- Your email address - to tell you when Seeky is available in your area, and to send you early-access updates you've asked for. Lawful basis: consent.
- Your postcode - so we can tell you when we reach your area. Lawful basis: consent.
- Your agency or branch name (optional) - to understand who's interested and get in touch usefully. Lawful basis: consent.
- Technical details captured automatically - your IP address, browser type and the time you signed up - to keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site.
That's all we collect right now. We do not collect your name, phone number, or any sensitive information at this stage.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the waitlist, each bound by a contract to protect your data and use it only on our instructions:
- Slack - our early-access sign-ups are sent to our internal team channel so we can respond (a US provider, covered by standard data-transfer safeguards).
- DigitalOcean - secure hosting in London, where the data is stored.
- Google Analytics - only if you accept analytics cookies (it's off by default). Helps us understand how the site is used.
- Postmark - if we email you about early access, we send it through this provider.
We may also share information where the law requires it, or with our professional advisers.
How long we keep it
We keep your early-access details until Seeky launches in your area and we've been in touch, or until you ask us to remove you - whichever comes first - and in any case no longer than 24 months after you last hear from or contact us. You can ask us to remove you at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email privacy@seeky.co.uk. We'll respond within one calendar month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF - ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum:
- Essential cookies keep the site working and secure (for example, protecting our forms). These are always on and don't need consent.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us understand how the site is used. These are off until you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in our footer. If you withdraw consent we stop using them and delete the ones already stored on your device. Anything already sent to Google before you withdrew is covered by our retention settings there, and is not removed by this.
We don't use advertising or marketing-tracking cookies.
Changes
We'll post any updates here with a new "last updated" date, and we'll replace this notice with our full privacy policy when the Seeky platform launches.
